He is a director, an actor, a writer, but most of all, a comedian, Hitoshi Matsumoto has been entertaining Japanese audience the last 20 years with his unique brand of Osaka humor. Following the success of his first film, the 2007 black comedy Dai-Nipponjin (Big Man Japan), Matsumoto will once again immersed movie goers to his strange world of satirical farce and jesting in Shinboru (Symbol). To mark this sophomore effort by Matsumoto, Nigo of BAPE, a long time fan and friend, will create a limited collection of t-shirts and cellphone accessory. Featuring BAPE’s caricature Baby Milo along with the likeness of Matsumoto in a series of 3 graphic t-shirts. The series also include 1 design exclusive to BAPEXCULSIVE Store in Aoyama and BAPE Osaka Store, where the comedian was originally from. All items will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes. Scheduled to launch on Saturday, September 12th.
